Ok. Y'know, the trouble with this site is that I talk to everone here too much, so that I run out of topics of conversation even here online, and so I shall have nothing to talk about when I see you in person. Of course, I'm sure we'll improvise; that's why they made video-games and DnD right?

Seriously, Xander, Randy, Ben V, Isaac and I all had the same flu.
We all had variations.
Randy damn near died, and coughed up blood, and stuff.
Ben V. Got really tired, and had a cough.
I had a mild cough, and headache, for quite a while.
Xander had a headache, coupled with his allergies acting up.
and Isaac was sick for like, two days.

If only curing diseases were that simple...We could break the drug company's hold on medication! Or invent a cure for cancer. Or do both and charge a boatload for it.

EDIT: I haven't gotten sick yet, stay away from me you sick people!

Or do the last option, and make WoW players jealous to boot!

Gah, it started out with a runny nose, then I had that and a scratchy throat, now I have a slightly runny nose and and coughing soo hard my chest hurts >.

Do you have medication (such as cold meds or ibuprofen)? My meager knowledge of diseases consists of basic medication for treatment of symptoms, lots of liquids (preferable juice, for nutrition, or soda, for electrolytes), and bedrest, lots of bedrest.

I second the opinion and advice of the doctor before me.

Haha, I have Air Heath ... which is like airborn and pretty much useless for colds, Umm and I HAVE ibuprofen ... but I thought that was for head aches **though I did forge the part about me being really dizzy as well, god I have to get up really slow or I just about fall down >.<** Umm I've been drinking water and stuff ... not enough soup though lol ... maybe I'll make some tomato soup and eat it with crackers ... seeing as I have no bread or cheese for which to make grilled cheese. and a doctor is not going to happen ... I'm not sure if I have insurance ...

Ibuprofen is not a headache medicine, it is a painkiller. Many doctors discourage using it often, as it has been shown by some studies to be damaging on the liver. It is unsafe to consume more than 1200mg of Ibuprofen in 24 hours (an average tablet should have 200mg). Ibuprofen can also help lower the temperature of a fever.

Basically, it helps make all those little aches and pains that make life miserable go away, or at least dull to a tolerable level. I've found it useful to take one or two before going to bed so that you can sleep through the night without waking up achey; I'm no doctor though, and this should not be considered a recomendation.

Yup. If I have a general body ache that's bothering me, or a headache, I take two Ibuprofen. Usually I don't do that more than once per day.

I slipped out of my room for a bit to find something to eat on campus, but the thing is that all of the campus eateries have been shut down for some reason So now I get to content myself with peanut butter crackers.

You remind me that I need to go grocery shopping soon.

Ok question for shelland marshall, your saying your really dizzy and have a runny now, and marshall had a headache, and ben was really tired... Dammit!

Also about ibuprofen, its a wonderful thing, I had a pinched nerve going from the top of my neck down my right arm... someone gave me 600mg... people thought i was stoned or something, I was really calm, lol but the pinched nerve is gone.

Yeah I get dizzy pretty easily, I have a runny nose, slight sore throat, and I just keep coughing. Which in turn gives me a headache ... pretty much.
