Tsk Tsk Amanda, if I were really sick I'd have um...how to put it nicely...disgorged the contents of my stomache by now. I have removed the coat, and feel at least ok now (I had gone to the bathroom, and let me tell you that air-drying your hands with "warm" air is in no way "warm"). Although, the chicken soup does sound good. Mmm, chicken soup.

Like I said before, I'll survive, I'm just not going to like it. I'd say I could just skip class after depositing my paper discretely on the table, but I have to work from 11:00-2:00, and I already took off on friday to come home early for the long weekend. Oh well. I'll just pencil in a nap, a big nap, after work, and be sure to actually take it this time when my roomate leaves for class. Yes, I must be sure to do that.

EDIT: My keyboard stopped working on me there, and I had to reboot my entire computer to get it functional again. Made me angry it did.

It's all a problem of mind over matter. Greek philosophers had a funny theory that your phyche was made of three parts: The mind, the stomache, and the nether regions. EDIT: Oh yes, and I acknowledge that you can be sick without the stomache complications, but as a general rule I've found that a lack of aforementioned symptom means that it's probably a cold/fever passing by. Of course, I could be wrong. I hope I'm right, mind you =)

Hmm, I don't know Amanda, I just don't know. I'd say that the effect of playing a member of the opposite gender in a roleplay is quite often used as a means to express what a person thinks their ideal soulmate would be. This is not always the case, and many professional writers have described a sensation of charecters taking on a life of their own. That is to say, the charecter was created by the author, and as the plot progressed, the charecter developed a specific set of core values based around their experiences, which oftentimes is very different from what the author might believe. Christopher Paolini commented on this:

"Eragon started off as me, but he's done things that I have not...like riding a dragon...it is interesting for me to peak inside the mind of Eragon, but he is no longer me."

That said, I should think that you should not be very worried about being percieved as "gay" when roleplaying a member of the opposite gender (of course, the whole straddling thing makes it a little akward). You should be more worried about how you and Shell react to one another =p. You've openly admitted that you're sure several people already think you and Shell are in love, although those who know you better know[/think] that's not the case.

And yes, I had rather figured that it wasn't a legitimate concern for you. What started as an intent to make a funny post dissolved into something approaching a rant, although that really doesn't fit, as its not something I'm particularily interested in. Did wonders for changing the subject though.

Ha ha ha ha...ha...funny story about that actually. See, I was feeling so crummy last night, that I thought i'd just go to sleep and wake up early at 5:15 (two hours before normal) and finish it then. I had only one page done when I went to sleep. You could probably have seen the trouble coming a mile away, but go figure that my alarm clock did no go off at 5:15. Also go figure that, although I had drunk three bottles of water last night, I did not have to get up and use the facilities at any time marginally close to 5:15am. As such, I'm sitting here writing my paper now (shhh, don't tell my teacher!) and I've got a solid two pages out of three. I'm hoping to be done in half an hour at the latest (I'd say 10-15 minutes, but let's be realistic here).

Haha, well at least you're nearing completion on it, and you got that much needed sleep. So how are you feeling today? Any better?

Darn, the subject came back. I suppose I feel a little better than yesterday, as my throat is no longer threatening to secede from my body. However, in an unlikely tradeoff, the base of my spine now aches uncomfortably, and makes it rather difficult for me to focus while sitting down, or standing really. Still feeling the chills, but I've managed to remove the sweater and brought myself down to just a long-sleeve shirt. So, all in all, probably an improvement.

Improvements are good.

Perhaps the spine hurting is due to too much sitting/standing/somethingthatwouldmakeyourspinehurt? Try taking a hot shower, that might help.

Ya, I don't know what the problem is. Maybe I pulled a muscle back there somewhere and it's just giving me grief. I'll be sure to take that shower later, but i've only got about 25 minutes until class starts, and I need to finish this paper and get my bum to a printer. I've got 2.66/3 pages done, and then I need to quickly throw together a bibliography. Huzzah for BS!

Additionally, your RP dillema confuses me. A good part of me that I like to call the self-perservation center is telling me that I should just drop the subject and move on. Are you on your RP website right now while you're in class? For that matter, what class are you in?

Hahah, yeaaaah. I'm bored, so I was like "ah, what the hell." Right now I'm in Fundamentals of Interactive Media Design. AKA: the class where the teacher blabs about action script to the point where nobody is going to retain any of it, so they just don't give a fuck and BS on the computer until he just uploads the demo onto the Web Design drive.

Yeahhhh. Action script. Ughhh.

Almost done with paper. Got to write conclusion, which is always the second hardest part darnit.

I had expected to like it a lot, because this is what I'm coming to school for and all... but... eh.
I think its just the teacher. He's a nice guy and everything, but as a teacher I don't very much like his style. And its hard to justify dragging myself downtown at 8:00AM for this class, because I don't ever really do anything in it. And on the rare occasion that I do, its something I could have easily done at home.

And next is Image Manipulation, which is just as bad because I know things, so I get too far ahead. So then I run out of work, and my teacher has stopped giving me future assignments to work on, because then I'd get too far ahead. -sobs- And again, its a class where anything I do there I could do at home. We are yet to talk about something I don't already know about in that class.

My Monday/Wednesday classes just aren't the best I guess.

Tuesday/Thursday I have English and Intro to Video. Huzzah for English.

Ok, paper is DONE. However, I now have 10 minutes to find a printer, print this sucker, and get to class. I might be in trouble here. Talk to you later to let you know how badly I screwed up.

Hey, we have this 400(?)lb character, and we all jump off this massive flying pirate ship that's plummeting to the ground! (Damn Jew Pirate) Well, hmm... might as well try to save as many people as possible... FEATHER FALL 400 lb's = cling to dear life as it falls like a feather to the ground....
