Mmm, I don't know. The concept of a game where you can become better by spending money doesn't appeal to some people. But what am I saying, we're in college, which means we've got plenty of money to go around.

I really kinda wanted to take a break from YGO a little while ago, but its helping me keep my mind off things. My brother has been skipping school a LOT lately [like more than I did... by a long shot] and so yesterday my dad chewed him out really well. Well this morning when I got up I saw that he wasn't in bed, so I figured he had actually gone to school for the first time this week...

Well around 11:30, Reggie started barking out the window, so I went to go check things out and I saw Joe walking past. So I call him and ask him why he wasn't in school AGAIN and he was like "I am." and I'm like "um... no, I just saw you." and so then he's like "you aren't gonna rat me out, are you?" and I tell him I obviously am. I mean, if he was just skipping every once in awhile I'd be fine with it... but he's only a month into school and he's only been to class a few times.

And that was the last time I've heard from him. His phone is off now, and he still hasn't come home.

I'm worried sick. If he's not a bleeding mess when he walks in the door, he sure will be soon after. D:<

That's terrible! I can't imagine how troubling that must be for your family. Hopefully, he's just lazy and not falling in with the wrong kind of people, but you really don't need me fueling that fire do you? I hope things work out between you. You going to stay up with YGO until he gets back?

I'm not too worried about him falling in with the wrong people... he's really not all that social. He just kinda stopped giving a fuck about school, and is probably sick of everyone getting on his case about it. [though... of course we're going to get on his case. I mean, he's never in school at all. He's going to get brought into court for truancy if he keeps this up.]

Yeah, I plan on staying up until he gets home. [and will most likely be watching YGO then.] Though I don't know if he'll be coming home tonight if he's not home already. His closest friend lives in Bloomington... and thats the only house he could've gone to... but I don't know the kid's number. I hope thats where he is. I should think that he's not stupid enough to stay out on the streets all night. So I'm betting I'll be up all night, go to my Main_Frame meeting tomorrow, and then probably crash once I get home.

I'll try not to. But... this isn't exactly St. Francis, and I don't think Joe is staying in my neighborhood. Who knows where he is. The kid has no sense of danger, I swear. He's probably out somewhere in Minneapolis, if he's not at his friend's house.

Ugh, I'm going to have enough trouble staying up as late as I am right now. I think that if I work at it, I might actually finish this stupid paper *cheer,* but then I'll be sleep deprived for most of the weekend.

EDIT: You don't really need to have a sense of danger so long as you stay well out of danger's way. I'm sure this'll all look brighter come morning.

Camping. And if you must know, it's Boy Scout related, which means rising at dawn usually.

Well, a figure of speech, but you get the idea. Most camps I end up waking up at around 6:00-6:30am. It fluctuates of course, and some camps are friendlier than others at waking you. Up at Tomahawk with my uncle's troup, I would wake each morning to a verse from "Oh what a beautiful morning" from Oklahoma(?) being sung loud and clear by my uncle. By the end of the week, I was up by the time I heard the first "oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh" echo across the campgrounds; no use fighting those lungs.

Oh. 6:00-6:30 isn't that bad. Thats usually when I get up for school. :p
But anyway, do try to get some sleep tonight, since you obviously won't be able to play catch-up over the weekend.

I'll try. Just need to come up with a way to end this BS about the European Union's rise to statehood being parallel to Nigeria and slap a conclusion it all. I've thoughtfully prepared my works sited ahead of time.

Incidentally, I know I'm tired, because when I went to date my paper, I put 9/25/oh before I realized i'd just "oh" instead of "0" for "08."

That reminds me of one time not long ago when I went to type "set" and put "seto" instead.
But thats not so much because I was tired... it was moreso because I'm obsessed. -headdesk-

Oh come now, we all make errors like that from time to time. I can't think of any good examples off the top of my head, but I know that one time it took me three tries to login to my school account before I realized I was trying to use my Wizards.com password to get in. -sigh-
