So I log into my first class today.. and start reading the extensively long homepage. So introduction to the course and such... and come across this.. and was like... HOLY SHIT WTF IS THIS NONSENSE!!!

I think at least Justin and Xander should be able to tell me its rage worthy...

okay so even better, I log into my computer concept and application class and start reading the syllabus:

okay so I get to sleep cause that is obviously ridiculous... but still... wtf is this shit, floppy disks? serious.

Like for instance, in my computer science class yesterday the teacher was trying to explain the nature of objects in computer science by using a physical object. So he picks up a chair and puts it on the table and asks what the properties are, no one said anything so I broke in with "It's on a table."

Terrible isn't it? Worse yet everyone laughed.

So, I just had a lengthy talk with bronii-chan, and once he finds himself a job (probably at Rainbow in the bakery with me, since Dominique is quitting soon, and I'm making him apply) and I have myself a car him and I are going to be looking for an apartment in or around Anoka.

Anoka for me because:
I'll be closer to you guys, and then I can just go to AR.

And Anoka for Joe because:
His unit is located in Anoka.

It works out perfectly. :)
After considering the expenses the two of us should be able to afford a small 2 bedroom apartment just fine.

Ahahaha, So... today Jeremy was talking about jobs in Archaeology, and a lot of jobs (before you finish a Bachelor's degree) are found in shovelbumming. Basically just the basic digging and screening dirt.

It pays usually between minimum wage and $10 an hour, but you also get paid Per Diem to cover living expenses (because the jobs usually aren't local, shovelbums move around a lot). He said the typical per diem rate is about $95/day to cover hotel/apartment costs, and food.

Then he showed us a picture of himself and he was a bit heavier in it than he is now, and was saying that when you have ~$50 a day to spend on food (because the per diem expenses need to be proven through receipts, so you do actually have to go spend this money) you eat GOOD... and drink a lot.

And I was surfing the net just now and found a shirt that said "Per Diem: Latin for Beer Money".

It made me giggle. :)

Shovel-bumming sounds like it'd be silly. I'd dig holes and sift dirt for $10/hr.

I keep checking the forums thinking somethings going to happen this early in the morning .... what the hell is wrong with me lol.
