| Lol Shell, that's pretty wierd (although I'm one to talk; I showed up 1/2 an hour late to my final last year because I misread the time. Three times! ). So does that mean you only have one class up until September? Are you gonna get out later because of it? At least you'll be easing your way into this year's schedule, that's for sure. | |

| Justin, you're a Faggot. District 9 was a really good movie. I honestly recommend the shit out of it. Besides that's not really how it ends Ryan. You should still see it. | |

| I think the commercials probably made it way more action packed then the movie itself, and that led to Justin being let down.
*Hasn't seen it yet* I would have yesterday, but I had to go to Chile's with my family to celebrate my cousin's 21st b-day

This happens to a lot of movies, where they purposefully only show you the bits and pieces of the very few "action" scenes in order to make it look more interesting than it really is. A great example was the Bridge to Terabithia (or however it was spelt). That movie was nothing like you would expect if you'd based it just from the comercials.

| Lol yeah. I expected Bridge to Terabithia to be kind of Narnia-ish. lol.
Inglorious Basterds is actually a lot like that too. Theres really not tons of action and nazi-killing... and yet it still works out great. You don't really notice the lack of action because its still so damn good. lol.

| Sooo...for those of you who don't know (I estimate 100% of you...maybe Xander's on top of it) Wizard.com decided to change their forums a while back and closed down the site for over a week to get it ready. They then moved all the info over to a new, third-party site not owned by Wizards of the Coast. This new site is buggy as ****, and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one with problems. I went to log in, and now it won't let me view anything until I update my profile, which I can't do because of an error on the page. To make things worse, the site uses [what I'm guessing are] cookies, and so now whenever I enter the site, it automatically logs me in and takes me to the "edit profile" section against my wished. However, people who aren't logged in can view it just fine. Oh, and here's the kicker: It won't let me log out. Seriously. Tried to log out, the site said f*** you (not literally) and took me back to the Edit Profile page. So much frustration. | |

seems interesting I wish real life was so wonderful. but as far as movies go, Deathrace basically covered the Inmates playing a deathgame thing. Gamer is just doing the same thing but with video games.

| Yeah Ryan I had noticed earlier when I was trolling the Magic boards (or attempting to). Normally I'm all for change and stuff, but really, there was nothing wrong with the old community boards (the design was actually one of my personal favorites), and it's not like they get huge amounts of traffic (considering more popular sites' boards that is), so I really don't see the need. And with all those millions at their disposal you think they could have hired a better (and faster) coder.
Though to give it credit, it does say it's in Beta, so let's hope it'll improve in a week or two.

Agreed, although why they chose to migrate (fully) to a forum that was still in beta I have no idea; it'd have been nice to keep the old forums up while making sure the transition was going forward as planned. I miss the old layout and format, but I'll settle for being able to log in in a few days.

Sometimes I wonder....

| Sooo, my mother and father went to see district 9. My mother had some very strong views about the movie (the worst she's ever seen. "worse than Battlefield Earth and that's saying something." I told her that some of you liked it, and she said "Your friends are f***ing stupid" as well as "and you can tell them I said so!" along with "the fact that they're breathing the same air as I want to breath makes me irritated." Good hillarious stuff. It was like nerdrage...exept not nerdy. In fact it was very anti-nerd. It was antinerdrage, and it was abundant. Also it was hillarious. Wish I had that on video | |
