| New Update: My court date to get power of attorney, and to get dad's assets, is Monday, October 6th. This means, that I will have a new truck soon, and will also be the legal owner of this house. Woot. It's a Green 01' Chevy S-10, Extended cab. This means that while I will get the same mpg, I will also still be able to seat five, and I have a truck bed with a removable cover. Most importantly, I finally have a goddamn radio/CD player. Also, my insurance will likely at least be halved, when I take the Explorer off insurance, and put the S-10 on. So, in general, a positive note. Well, minus the fact that I still haven't heard from anybody from the State, so I still owe $154,000 to the hospital, plus $23,500 to M&I Bank, for the 2nd mortgage. Plus I need a new furnace for $1,600 plus labor, and the chimney still needs to get fixed for, like, about $3,500 dollars, give or take $1000. Things do have their pros and cons, eh? | |

| Hm, most likely. I don't know, I guess. I might as well, but I haven't thought about it too much yet.
I doubt it, when I think about it. Because of the cheap insurance. If I take the Explorer off, and put the S10 on, I can save a lot of cash.

Things do have their pros and cons, eh? Careful yo, power of attorney has their benefits, but if you get stuck with all his debt unmodified, then you're screwed, and don't think selling the house will bail you out either, no one's buying. I think you might need a legal adviser if you don't already have one. P.S. Kids, make sure you have a will and insurance.

I think you might need a legal adviser if you don't already have one. Well, I'm the only person who can basically have power of attorney, because I'm the only heir. The hospital will just take the house at "face value" which, if I remember, is $180,000. That'll cover the medical bill and mortgage. I hope that debt gets taken care of. - Xander wrote:

QFT. Seriously. Otherwise the people you care about end up dealing with a bunch of bullshit.

| You should read up on your "Running to Canada." They don't take you unless you actually offer something to society. | |

They don't take you unless you actually offer something to society. Dude, I'll just go to Toronto, it's got a population of two and a half people and a dog, I mean why wouldn't they want me?

| Not for a long time yet Justin. I know Blizzard has announced a release date for Starcraft 2, but I don't trust them any farther than I can throw them, which is not very far. For crying out loud, they announced Starcraft: Ghost how many years ago!? They baited us all into following them into a first-person shooter as a ghost agent with the hook that the game would advance the storyline (you know, that creepy part in the bonus mission with Duran and Zeratul? Seriously, i'd bet money on overlords as mobile pylons! The power! But that's another rant...) and then they went and delayed the game indefinately...
And don't forget that Blizzard has WoW working for them already. As long as those servers stay up, they're making more money than is right anyways, so they've got all the time in the world for their machinations, because they know they've got enough addicts out there that will buy their products whenever they manage to get it out. -headdesk-

No one shall survive my ZERG RUSH KEKEKEKEK! But we also have game discs so no worries, though Battle.net-ing would be a problem without proper game disc numbers.

And the Protoss already have their own mobile pylons silly. You should go watch some of the game play videos. And every one knew Ghost was kinda ridiculous, not to mention they kinda failed at developing it.... Guess Blizzard doesn't know much about RPG/FPS games.
