What! Ben impressed by something they're changing in WoW!?
I'm thoroughly surprised it didn't go like: "I can't believe they're letting Trolls be Druids!" and "I want a refund for not being able to fly in Azeroth when I was there!"
But he's taking the first step towards living a longer, more positive life! =D
Hell, while we're on the subject of Horde figures being faggots, I'll post the link that basically sums up everything I hate about the Horde's lore.
i dont approve of most of this and i am hoping its a massive troll...

I really did not want Goblins as a playable race. Ugh.
Plus, lol @ Org being destroyed. D:

It's been rather slow in the WoW news world as of late, mainly because everyone is waiting for Blizzcon.

So I've been watching Blizzcon Live for a bit now, Cataclysm is confirmed, they showed a trailer, new secondary profession: Archeology, goblins and worgen confirmed, flying in old world, level cap 85, new class race combinations confirmed, etc. And Blizzard's CEO is really bad at public speaking.
Oh yeah, new heroic Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep announced!
And a new playable Diablo 3 class, the Monk!
I'm sure there's gonna be loads of news coming in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled.
Goblins can be all classes except Druid and Paladin. Worgen can be all classes except Paladin and Shaman.

Wait, there's a new DIII class? How are they planning to make that work? If they're trying for a kung-fu type martial artist monk as seen in DnD, then wtf was wrong with the assassin? If they're making it a healing class...I won't even know what to think really, but they'd better throw a few damn good offensive spells in the mix, because as much fun as it is to laugh at your foes as they try to make you believe they're doing real damage, it's just not as fun without another party member to show them how small their health bars really are.
As for the WoW update, it actually sounds rather fun to me, although I've never played WoW (exepting those 20 mins at Justin's). I'm going to go ahead and place my bets right now that as soon as it hits, there's gonna be a ****load of Worgen druids running around.

From what they showed in the brief trailer, it's a Quarterstaff wielding melee-ish class with runic powers, the monk in the trailer ran around really fast making everything in sight explode basically. It was brief and most of the Diablo sites around the web are crashing from the traffic, so I'm sure there'll be more info soon enough.

Sounds suspiciously like they're gonna try and pull a "martial controller" on us (I.E., a melee caster. No, the druid does not count; the druid was bull. I'm think more along the lines of casting spells from the front lines because they have to be cast there, not just because they can be cast there).

Quite possibly, it does seem similar to me with how the Assassin panned out. Here a picture of the monk casting the spell "Impenetrable Defense"

Also, I think all of the new race/class combinations are pretty awesome.

You're tellin' me, seriously everything they've announced for Cataclysm so far is like Holy Shit! I super excited for more info on the new Path of the Titans character progression system. Sounds a lot like Diablo talent trees.
FYI: There's live blogs goin' on around the internet, giving you up to the second info, on wow.com, worldofraids.com, and diablofans.com

Just looked at the gameplay trailer, and that pretty much hits it right on the nose with what I was thinking. Monk seems to bring spellcasting to the front lines in much the way that I assume Gambit operates (keep in mind that for lack of having seen Origins yet, my image of Gambit is still in cartoon colors )

Summary for Cataclysm stat changes:
* Attack Power on gear is gone. Instead, some classes will get 2 AP from each point of Agi (Rogues, Hunters, Shamans, Druids), and other classes (presumably Warriors, Paladins, and Death Knights) will get 2 AP per point of Strength. Side effect: no more plate wearers stealing your gear * Spell Power is gone. It comes from Int now. * MP5 is gone. Spirit is the mana regen stat, and all classes that need it will get some form of Meditation. (Hunters, never fear - you don't use mana any more. More on this in a separate post.) * Armor Penetration is gone. That one was just confusing. * Defense is gone. Tanks are now defense-capped from talents, like Druid tanks. * Haste now increases your rate of resource regeneration (mana, energy, rage, runes, focus). * Block Value is gone, but blocks now mitigate a percentage of damage. * Stamina is going to be more equal across different armor types - no more "plate HP envy."

I was surprised that Worgen would be a druid rather than shammy, oh well, I have a reason to make a Dwarf toon then.
Armor pen, it's odd they took it away, since it seemed that was the main counter balance to Resilience.
Umm.. I believe I already get 2 AP per 1 point in strength?
This expansion will end up making WoW more interesting, or kill it, one of the two : /

I just looked at MMO champion an they said that they're adding cross-server LFG to the game, and that it should be out in patch 3.3!! :D :D :D
Thank god. Finding groups sucks now. Ever since the patch the only thing anyone ever runs anymore is H ToC. :(
