Forgotten Realms 4.0

OK so Forgotten Realms is out now and it's time to start playing it.

But anyways what do you like about the new stuff it has t offer? What don't you like? Any campaign ideas? Or just talk about whatever you want as ling as it's about the Forgotten Realms.

What I don't like is the fact that as a playable race i don't exist still. I <3 Githyanki.

as far as campaign ideas go

ones right off the top of your head tend to go much more smooth rather then planning them cause rarely do people actually follow what you plan!

Well I for sure want to do a airship campaign, or at least have airships in one and have people be on it (pirate battles?) cause airships rock and make stealing Final Fantasy plots/events horrifically easy.

I need to read more on it before I make completely sure, but I think spellswords are going to be banned in any game with me in it from now on.

I think I, as a Spellsword, would like to minus 13 damage from Logan (whom you attacked) and to give myself 13 temporary hit points.

Yeah, if anything gets a scent of over powered, I think it'd be the Spellsword.
With their Fighter HP as well.

I wouldn't care if it didn't overbalance the game so much from what I currently understand about it. I mean fuck, that's why that battle took so long, I had to balance the enemies to mathematically make up for that stupid spellsword nonsense.

Yeah, because four hour battles suck nuts.

I'm sure the fact that Isaac couldn't hit the broadside of a barn didn't help any, haha.

Well I just read basically all of Forgotten Realms Player's Guide, and reread Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide, both with the updates, and I think I have a better understanding of all of it now.

I think the Swordmage in general is a bit ridiculous, I think they must have made a bunch of class ideas to put into Forgotten Realms, but then mashed it all together into one ridiculously variable convoluted class named the Swordmage.

I dunno, it's not so bad, the class itself shouldn't be very overpowered or anything, except when compared to the base classes and when used by people who would rather play D&D minis than have straight Roleplaying does the class get annoying.

I guess in the end I just have to change a lot of things with how adventures are run and what kind of monsters are placed in it and how they respond to the characters and how events play out regarding the Swordmage.

In the end I think it's just very annoying if anything. Mainly because having balanced bosses or just a main baddie is completely pointless now. I have to rig the shit out of everything just to balance certain things regarding solo and elite encounters and encounters that should be of moderate difficulty but shouldn't take forever.

Maybe it's just certain people I hate having campaigns with because they make D&D less enjoyable for me and consequently everyone else.

I'd like to play around with the Forgotten Realms stuff and even the Adventurer's Vault with more people and see how it runs.

I think the fuel pump isn't working, because normally when I turn the key for accessories, I can actually hear it.
and now my truck just turns over and over, and I never hear that sound.

Well you could have a spark problem or a vacuum leak or one of your fuel pumps is bad or leaking. Or about eight other things.

Well, to be honest, I don't have a fucking clue. The trouble of the matter is that I'm only one week away from being able to drive the other truck (most likely) so any big costing fix is a waste of money. But I can't survive a week without a vehicle, methinks.

I dunno, I think you could just hang out at home for a week, walk or bike down to the gas station for food. Isn't there some other food stuff places not too far away as well?

Heck it might be good exercise!

That puts off my plans for going to buy the new books, of course.
Now I also need to have my mother drive me to the hearing on Monday.
and if people come over, I don't have enough food to feed anyone, so we'd have to walk for food. And I don't have an operational bike, so none of that.

It's just a little frustrating.

You could have someone come look at it at your expense, or maybe the timings are off and it will work later, I'd say that's a bit frustrating, I remember once my car didn't work, and I was trying to drive Shell and Lea home from Speech, lol.

I know what was with that I hit nothing for three hours,then almost die. THEN I get 2 critical hits with a basic attack and my weakest power(witch was the only one I had left) I think I should have drank that firebreather I put in my waterskin. I think I need new dice.

Well I suggest that if it can start up sooner or later, drive it around a bit, and fill up at a different gas station when you can, I think you just got some bad gas.... Try using Super or something...
