Did I ever mention I love vocaloids?

And the program for the dancing vocaloids you see is MikuMikuDance, you can get the latest english version from www.vocaloidism.com

Though Justin, I dunno if you've ever done any work with 3D models before, but it's little.... time consuming, to say the least.

And the singing portion is the actual retail program "Vocaloid" and the character Miku comes from the successor program Vocaloid 2 Character Series which were released in Japan.

So in summary, the program costs money (retail 15,750 Yen or $163) and the Miku version (along with all the other cool anime vocaloid versions) is Japanese only.

Expected response: Oh well Xander, just pirate it!

i was gonna say buy it...

but if you truly insist i guess you could pirate it

Aha! I've caught you red handed!

Even if I did get it, we can't read japanese, and it is a rather deep fully-featured music creation program.

Though I think I read somewhere they ported the voice sampling code to other music programs, but I don't know anything more on that possibility.
